Grown in MacLaren Vale Australia, this shiraz is grown bio-dynamically, using vegetarian methods and specific guidelines that follow lunar and celestial patters. The result is a huge wine that is silky smooth with a dark fruits.
There are no pesticides or herbicides used in growing these grapes and the resulting wine is how nature intended wine to really be.
The Hedonist is run by a wine-making trio, Walter Clappis, his daughter, Kimberly and her partner, James Cooter. Together the three of them have created a wine house that is entirely certified bio-dynamic.
The shiraz is part of a stable of wonderful wines. Rosé, tempranillo, cabernet sauvignon, and sangiovese along with some wonderful blends.
The Hedonist Shiraz is an ideal wine to drink with red meats and bold spicy foods.
